Guarantee and Limited Warranty

Hampton Roads Irrigation, Inc. guarantees the installation of a satisfactory and properly operating underground irrigation system. Further, Hampton Roads Irrigation, Inc. warrants the installation, workmanship, design, and materials employed in connection with the underground irrigation system.

THIS GUARANTEE AND LIMITED WARRANTY SHALL BE EFFECTIVE FOR A PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEAR COVERING INSTALLATION AND TWO (2) YEARS COVERING COMPONENTS, FOLLOWING THE COMPLETION OF INSTALLATION HEREUNDER.

During the period of this guarantee and limited warranty, Hampton Roads Irrigation, Inc. will repair or replace any defects in the underground irrigation system without charge to the customer during year one (1) and charge only for service labor when replacing components during year two (2). 

Hampton Roads Irrigation, Inc. shall not be responsible for any damages resulting from the negligence of the customer, negligence of their employees or contractors, failure to properly winterize the system, damages from vandalism, damages from excavation or construction, damages from weather or any acts of nature. Further, this guarantee and limited warranty do not apply to any damages or insufficiencies resulting from changes in public water main pressure or private well water pressure, alterations to landscaping, or plant growth.

For maximum efficiency, the irrigation system should be operated during nonpeak hours, when domestic water demand is at a minimum. During the guarantee and limited warranty, the customer shall be solely responsible for all programming adjustments to the irrigation controller.
